About

I have been working as a freelance sound designer and audio engineer since graduating in 2007 from Belmont University with a BS in Audio Engineering Technology.  Since then I have worked with clients local to DFW and across the country.

That has included working as the production engineer on 3 national tours, mixing over 75 musicals and plays, and designing more than 150 theatrical productions.  In that time I have worked with companies including Kids Who Care, Amphibian Stage Productions, Jubilee Theatre, GFour Productions, Theater TCU, All Saints Episcopal School, Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts, Dallas Theater Center, Tarrant County College, Texas Ballet Theater, Fort Worth Community Arts Center, Booker T Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, and many many others.

Working as sound designer has allowed me to work on a wide variety of projects.  I work to ensure that any production is as effective as possible by using sound to support the overall message that is being presented.  This may be through making voices heard more clearly, or by making productions more entertaining, or by helping to shape the mood of the audience.  At any given time, my job ranges from designing and installing a sound system for a theater, to composing original music for an ad campaign, to mixing a musical with 30 body mics and a live orchestra, to teaching a student how to mix that same musical, to finding (or creating) just the right fart sound for a comedic moment in a play.

On this website, I have tried to assemble some examples of various theatrical productions and media projects that I have been a part of, as well as any other audio related endeavors in which I have participated. Where possible I have tried to include some demonstrations whether in the form of my work documentation along the way, a final video file, an example of sound cue playback, and more.

Please let me know how we can work together, or if you have any questions.

Thanks!
